“Following the In the Key of I and Record of the Year releases at the end of 2018, Starbirthed prepared its third major exploration and demonstration of their Tonal Cosmology astromusical system as a series of ambient meditations for harmonizing with each turn of the zodiac wheel. Utilizing the planetary tones and musical keys inherent to the system, the pair improvised longform minimalist pieces to embody the zodiacal energies of each sign; these recordings served as background music for the Starry Alignment daily horoscope podcast hosted by Stevie Medina throughout 2019-2020. Up to now the over two hours of music created by Starbirthed for this series has been available only as a subscriber exclusive digital collection, and we are thrilled to make the complete set of celestial recordings publicly available for the first time, both as a digital release and as a deluxe double-cassette package.”
