First solo project from S.T. McCrary who longtime wrote and played for Baton Rouge punk band the Melters. A true lo-fi masterwork, Tight Ass Goku Pictures is a compilation of warm four track recordings & glistening bedroom (power)pop songs that show off McCrary’s skilled songwriting. Reminiscent of the early Flying Nun roster, influences of Wire AND Wipers- TAGP is eclectic in sound and brings sometimes dismal and horror writing to pop sounds.
Songs to make you laugh and cry. Listen on the beach or in the bath. At a party or in the dark. Get the tape for maximum effect!
