Lovecraft, extreme gore, and the combination of horror and comedy. The score’s composer, Richard Howard Band, has scored more than 70 films. His work for Re-Animator is dark and direct, giving the film an intense and eerie atmosphere, with a lighthearted touch. It’s a mix of synth drive beats and more orchestral moments.
