For πβπππ, Berlin-based Alie illustrates a selection from the Ashtavakra Gita with a sprawling excursion of narration-infused ambient and pointed club music selections. Alieβs recorded output and sound practice is a multifocal one: a body of generously considerate DJ mixes, appearances on Angelo Harmsworthβs Lime Lodge label, multiple remixes throughout the enmossed catalog, and the publishing platform “awa awa” – recently releasing and collaborating with nlbs on the techno EP, “Ritual”.
πβπππ is a subtextual primer to the recorded output Alie has amassed to date. Alieβs attention to momentum on πβπππ is prescient as the selections expand over the generous seventy-two minutes of listening experience over sides A and B. πβπππ provides joyous catharsis through well-earned reflection.

Alie functions as a channel, space and expression of sounds, frequencies and vibrations. These may materialize in form of tracks, sound pieces or co-creations, ready to be transmitted to all – vibrating on a resonant frequency. When playing records, Alieβs focus creates an oscillating flow between ambient, experimental and fast forward sounds.
